Thomas Rose an Artist who paints ,writes and sculptures . Was born in Boston, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Somerville High School . While in Boston Thomas attended classes at the School of Art and Design , Boston and Cambridge Adult Centers, Middlesex and Bunker Hill Community College . He moved to Florida in 2011 and studied under Regina Stark and Deborah Gooch at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. Thomas paints in acrylic and oil paint in a classical contemporary style reminiscent of Pollock, Picasso and Matisse. The subjects he paints and sculptures are many and varied. His interest is custom art pieces and he often writes poetry to complement his paintings and sculptures. In 2014 he completed and published his first book of art & poetry "THE ART OF THOMAS ROSE" .

Background- Thomas has exhibited his artwork in Boston and Somerville Massachusetts ; In Florida at The Vero Beach Museum Of Art, for President Obama at Forward America Headquarters in Vero Beach, The Indian River Courthouse and The Regina Stark Gallery. Thomas has also been selected as the Artist of the Month many times for Dale Sorensen's Friday Night Art Walk in Vero Beach Fla.
In 2014 he was asked to guest host" The Bully Effect" blog radio with Penny Jean, a simulcast on Star 95.1 The Heart of New York with over 6 million listeners. He was interviewed and recited his poetry with Penny Jean for, World Day of Bullying Prevention 2014, something that he is very proud of ! Thomas has also served as the Historian for the Vero Beach Art Club .
